Facultative Anaerobic Bacteria were used to produce Hydrogen.

We are a group of senior chemical engineering students at Oregon State University studying the usage of hydrogen synthesized by micro-organisms in PEM fuel cells. Our project is part of a 10 week senior lab course and will build the foundation for further investigation on this promising technology.

This site contains detailed information on our project as well as a basic theoretical background on fuel cells.
