Final grades have been posted, as of 3:00 p.m. Thursday, December 08, 2005.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the instructor by noon on Friday.

Have a great holiday break!

Attention students in section 7: the deadline for activity 4 has been extended to Sunday, October 23 at 11:59 p.m. Use the time wisely!

Attention students in section 28: you will be taking quiz 1 on Wednesday, October 19. You have 2 more days to complete activity 4 (due Thursday at

11:59 p.m.) but you will need to seek assistance outside of class for Project 1. The point of the project is to have you do something without being told

every single step so if you understand Excel, you won’t need much help. See the instructor if you need further assistance.

IMPORTANT NEWS FROM THE INSTRUCTOR: A number of students have expressed their concern regarding the change of TA

in sections 007 and 028, the fact that they feel behind in covering the material to complete recent activities. So, FOR THOSE SECTIONS ONLY,

I have extended the due date for activity 2 by two days (MW session now due Thursday at 11:59 p.m. and TR session, Friday at 11:59 p.m.). If you have

already submitted the file and feel your work wasn’t up to your potential, I encourage you to use the extra time you now have to improve on your

effort. You are welcome.

Also, please realize that the TA is NOT required to cover everything during class. He/she will do their best but if there are lots of questions, that

may not be possible. A new activity is scheduled for each session so material left out of a prior session is your responsibility; that is why the TA

has office hours. I highly recommend (as stated in the Class Information link on the class web site) that you read over the activity BEFORE your

session so you can be prepared to ask questions on material that you are unfamiliar with, or to receive necessary clarifications.

GOOD LUCK with the remainder of the term!
