Schedule of Labs:
First week of Classes, there are no labs.
Lab. 1 , second week of classes
Lab Preparation, there is
none required, form groups, orientation
Lab. 1,
PSPICE orientation, you need some guide to PSPICE, download manual or
simple manual from circuits texts like, "Introduction to PSPICE manual
for Electric Circuits
using ORCAD Release 9.1" , 4th Ed., by Nilsson and Reidel, Prentice Hall,
2000.
Lab. 1, assigned
problem, had in next week, counts as one lab.
Lab. 2 , Preparation, do before coming to
the lab., assume an ideal op amp, see the text;
the output voltage is just the negative of the current times the 1K resistor;
see also here a data sheet from National Semiconductor, LM741
Lab. 2, diodes
Lab. 3 , Bipolar Junction Transistors, Preparation and Lab. Sheet, Lab. 3 transistors
Lab. 4, Bipolar Amplifier, preparation design a simple bipolar amplifier;
and then
build and test this amplifier in the lab. Lab.
4 sheet
Lab. 5, FET's, preparation and lab. 5 sheet
Lab. 6, CMOS Inverter Lab. 6 Sheet
Lab. 7 & 8(two week project) CMOS Amplifier , preparation
and lab sheet
for the first week's preparation answer only
the first two questions;
for the second
week's preparation answer the last two questions in the
preparation(there will be some help given in the lab lecture during 1st
week.)
Dead Week, there are no new labs; hand-in your lab from last week;
meet
with the TA to review your lab scores; there will be no change of
grade or lab scores after dead week.
