Introduction and Modeling of a Pandemic

Please go to your assigned Breakout Room in Zoom and complete the following activities
    1. Access the following link from the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control: https://www.ecdc.europa.eu/en/publications-data/download-todays-data-geographic-distribution-covid-19-cases-worldwide
    2. Download the data file (note: there are several formats - look for the Excel XLSX file)
    3. Make a scatter plot of the number of  new cases in the US over the last 30 days. Make sure to format your plot well and label axis.
    4. Complete the zyBook section "2. Studio 1: Excel SOLVER" (code: OREGONSTATECBEE213Spring2020). You do not have to complete the Challenge 
    5. King Hebert pridicted the time of peak oil by fitting oil consumption to a normal distribution; as best you can, fit the data you just plotted to a normal distribution. Think about how you can use your zyBook reading
    6. Before you leave the studio go through what you have done with one of the instructors.

As a Team. paste the following in a single document (TEAMING Part II, MODELLING Parts 3 and 5). Also include a 1 paragraph explanation on how you are approaching the model (especially useful if you have not yet competed the model). Please include all group members names on the document
Make a pdf and submit your assignment using the group option on Gradescope (https://www.gradescope.com/). Please include all group members names on the submission in Gradescope
Submit one document per team. Please include all group members names on the submission in Gradescope. By including your name, you verify that you have had the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to the documents submitted, and that your ideas were heard. If you cannot say this, see an instructor.
